Billing enhancements

Currently the billing setup for Lambda public cloud is extremely oversimplified. I like the ease of use, however that should not mean there’s not even basic billing functionality.

Primary issue is missing billing alerts / budgets / anything to control the spend.

Point above seems to be connected to missing billing API - I’d be grateful even for single read-only endpoint to report on currently outstanding balance which I can automate around.
Right now the only possibility is to create a full user account and drive this with web automation?
I tried hitting the https://cloud.lambda.ai/api/usage but it doesn’t seem to work with API key.

Thank you for sharing this. We understand the billing management is currently pretty bare-bones, and we’re actively exploring adding more controls, including better ways to monitor and manage spend. Improving billing functionality is a key focus for us.
