Have a bunch of G Series that just came, and I haven’t put any GPUs in them yet. They have just the bare bones, NVMe drive, RAM, CPUs that’s it.
When I plugin the power and network it I can get to the BMC without an issue but it simply will not power on. The PSU’s are green, once I power it on in a second or two they turn amber and won’t power up.
After the first unit I thought it was a fluke, but every unit we have is this way. Our voltage is 208v we’re sending to it. I tested it with a volt meter, it’s right on the money and steady as a rock. NO idea, never had a server just refuse to power up in 20 years of doing this unless something was blown, but this is all new parts.
