Host at home - is it a practical idea?

Hi,

I got a Lambda Blade 8 RTX GPU server from company shutdown. It’s been setup at colocation for a while. I’m having enough space now, is it practical to host it at home?

I did a bit research, but apparently it’s not enough.

I’m getting

  1. PDU - Tripp Lite Basic PDU, 30A
  2. PLUG convertor before electrician comes - ONETAK NEMA 6-50P to L6-30R 240V 30 Amp
  3. network - I’m still figuring it out, any suggestion? I’m living on “Stanford” land, so I’m locked with their internet service.
  4. storage - I think the space is enough for my personal use for now

What else am I missing?
