If you think the fan on the TensorBook is too loud, you may have accidentally pressed Fn+! (Fn + 1 as in Function + 1).
You can tap Fn + 1
a few times to cylce through the fan settings and set it to a quieter default.

Is there a way to see what the fan setting are? Like what temp it kicks off at. My issue is that mine just runs every like 15-30 mins for a few min even when the system is doing “nothing” and locked. Only thing that stops it is shutting the lid. Then it doesn’t do it.
Hi guys, just got my Tensorbook, and these are the spect:
OS: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS x86_64
Host: TensorBook (2022) 8.04
Kernel: 6.2.0-26-generic
Apparently I’m unable to check and control the fans speed and rpm, so I’m guessing if there’s any missing package in my configuration.
launching sensors it doesn’t show any fan speed.
fn+1 doesn’t do anything.
