My Lamba Tensorbook is failing to boot into Ubuntu and enters an endless loop of trying to start Journal Service, failing and trying again. I didn’t recently install any new package. The only unusual thing that I had done was to log out and subsequently shut down the lid. The next time it froze upon opening the lid (failure to resume from a hibernating state has been a perennial issue), and I tried to force a restart. But it started getting stuck in that endless loop. Screenshots are attached. I’m not an expert by any means, and so I tried some of the remedies suggested in other threads which include going into recovery mode and trying to update grub and initramfs, but nothing seems to be working. Please help…
