Lambda Quad: Disable Secure Boot

  • Reboot machine.
  • As machine boots, repeatedly pressing F2.
  • Once UEFI BIOS Utility displays, press F7. A new menu will pop up.
  • Under “Boot” tab, scroll down and select “> Secure Boot” option
  • Ensure that the “OS Type” dropdown is set to “Other OS”
  • Under “> Key Management”, select “Delete PK” and hit “Yes” to “Confirm deletion of ‘PK’ from NVRAM”
  • Press F10 and hit “OK” to confirm that all changes should be saved. The machine will reboot.
  • You’re done!

From here, press F7 and navigate to the “Boot” tab. Find the “Secure Boot” option.

Under the “Secure Boot” option, ensure that the “OS Type” dropdown is set to “Other OS”

Under “> Key Management”, select “Delete PK” and hit “Yes” to “Confirm deletion of ‘PK’ from NVRAM”

Press F10 and hit “OK” to confirm that all changes should be saved.

Machine will reboot.
